I work as a landscape architect, as well as manage my own contracting business. My brother and I own this new company, and we work at it as it happens. This just means that many unexpected issues that pop up, and we do what we can to address the problems right there and then.

We had one memorable project a few months back. I was supervising this job. We had to clear out the foliage in a client’s backyard, and it was fun work. I am a retired accountant. I was divorced from my wife of ten years, with whom I had two children. Since I retired, I wanted to do things I couldn’t do while I was working. I recently began studying music again, and I played a bit of guitar when I was younger.

I used to play bass and sing for a jazz band back in the day. The money wasn’t much, but we enjoyed making music and playing for small crowds.
