Have you seen the film “Confessions of a Shopaholic”? If you have and you happened to know me, you would agree that my life was almost the same as that of Rebecca Bloomwood, as portrayed by Isla Fisher in the film. Everyday, I received a lot of phone calls from the collection department of my credit card companies. I had 5 credit cards and sad to say, all of them were maxed out, simply because I loved Chanel, Dior, Zara, LV, Fendi, etc. and bought them from various places aside from Gilbert, such as Scottsdale, Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Sun City, Chandler, Mesa, and Tempe.

Again, like Rebecca Bloomwood, I also avoided the phone calls. I was paranoid whenever the phone rang. I could no longer concentrate on my job and even received several memos from my manager because of tardiness and absences, in my attempt to avoid and hide from the collection officers. It was only after I saw Fisher’s film that I came back to my senses. I didn’t want to experience what Bloomwood experienced in the film, so I decided to settle my credit card debts. The problem was where to get the money!

The Internet, as they say, is the largest encyclopedia on earth. I typed “financial problem” on Google, and to my surprise, Google showed a lot of loan companies. I tried my luck and submitted my application to all of them, but it seemed like my efforts were futile because nobody contacted me.
