I dabbled in cooking as a dormer in college, as a short-order cook at a diner. It turns out that I had a gift, as my friends and family ask me to cook for them regularly. I decided to place the bulk of my savings into a start-up catering business.
I cook numerous dishes from different culinary genres. I started with basic French cooking, and later on developed a liking for South American cuisine. I also design menus based on Asian food. One new client wanted me to cook for a party he was holding for his girlfriend’s birthday, and I sat down to discuss what he wanted. He decided on a Chinese-fusion type of menu, and told me build the recipes around it. He wanted a few exotic ingredients in there as well. He wanted the appetizers based on bird’s nest soup, a main dish with white truffles, and a dessert made from dragon fruit. I didn’t know a lot of suppliers that could get me these ingredients, so I asked for the contact details of manufacturers who did. As you may have guessed, the stuff he wanted was a tad expensive, and I couldn’t afford it at that time.

I quickly logged on to the Internet to look for some financial aid. I saw a few loan companies located in Surprise, Goodyear, and Tonopah. I went with Buckeye Title Loans, as the office was near my industrial kitchen. I filled out the application online and was informed that the loan was granted almost instantly. I even had the cash later that day. Thumbs up!
